In this era where technology chnages each second and consumers try to keep them updated with the latest gadgets .the e-wastes created are continously dumped into lands. Researchers at the University of Illinois are developing dissolvable electronics .this technology will be a good solution towards eliminating e-waste and reducing pollution even though it may have many problems

but the  water supplies is a major concern .the influx of metals from a dissolvable device could create toxic conditions in water supplies.

Until research is held on this matter , it is hard to assume that dissolvable electronics is just exchanging one problem for another, endangering water supplies instead of filing up landfills
