A Silicon Valley jury ordered Samsung to pay Apple $290 million for copying  iPhone and iPad features.

The previous jury ordered them tp pay $1.05 billion. But US District Judge ordered the new trial and odered out $450 million

 A third trial is to be held on March to consider Apple's claims that Samsung's newly launched  devices on the market also copied Apple's technology.

Apple has argued that Samsung's Android-based phones copy vital iPhone features. Samsung is fighting back that some key Apple patents are invalid and Apple has copied Samsung's technology.
