Expo 2020 was won by the Dubai in a tight competition.

The World Expos takes place every five to six years. It is a  trade exhibition which attracts millions of visitors to the country where the event is hosted. The UAE made it clear early in its campaign that it was determined to host the event at any cost

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan called His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to congratulate him on the win and the president also said that he’s very happy for this win.!

Dubai showed their chances of win from the first round of voting.

The UAE’s performance was improved with each vote. They improved their first round showing of 77 votes by gaining 10 more votes in the second round, while big nations like Russia improved by only two. This shows that UAE had dominance on the expo than any country.

Expo 2020 is really deserved by the Dubai as it holds many world records like biggest building in the world’s biggest manmade aquarium in the world etc.
