Google X, the secretive research lab revealed its next product, smart contact lens, which aims at diabetes .Though sound incredibly advanced ,the technology in Google’s smart contact lens isn’t that drastic .

 It reads the glucose level from the tears every second and the data is transmitted to a device. It hasn’t revealed anything about the device, but could be a smart phone or Google glass.

Currently, we check the glucose level by pricking our finger .It may appear painful and relatively discomfortable.Due to this inconvenience factor, this is not often used as it should be. There are also several other ways including collecting tears ,but it is no longer an easier methods

With smart contact lens ,when glucose level increases or decreases ,a warning can be transmitted to the device.
