There are specific skincare tips for women in their 20s that most of us don’t give priority. Maybe they are not far out of teenage years or near to 30s, there are few things that women in 20s should follow. Women in 20s face a lot of stress, graduating from college, managing life with your tight budget, choosing a career and so on. Aside from the point we’re young and don’t worry about wrinkles yet, stress, hormonal changes, and changes in our diets can all lead to bad skin, unless we take precautions? So its advisable for those in 20s or even in late teenage years, should take some precautions as given below:-
Exercise
Maybe all know the importance of exercise in daily life, but it’s so important to exercise during your 20s. They help in controlling our stress and maintain the hormone production. When your hormones, primarily cortisol, the stress hormone, are out of control in unhealthy levels, havoc occurs on your skin. Being overweight increases the chance of PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) or other hormonal issues. Exercise increases the blood flow and thereby helps in removing toxins including that of acne, where most women in 20s face
Balanced diet
Maybe you have consumed a lot of junk food during your teenage years and if you don’t maintain your diet, you are likely to become older fast. Avoid junk food .this is the time where you have to be most conscious about your die. Avoid sugar, Drink plenty of water, and include green vegetables and fishes in your diet plan
Manage your stress
Being so stressful could do lot harm to your skin. So beware. Do something to maintain stress like yoga and so on
Add fats
You probably heard fats would make you fat, just a myth. Eat healthy fats for your skin. It has two benefits. It destroys the cause of acne and reduces wrinkles. Healthy fats include coconut, fish, almonds, walnuts, hemp, flax, and dark chocolate. Other sources include avocados, olive oil, and coconut oil .this is the best time to start with your healthy diet ,so you don’t lose essential collagen in the skin, which is made of protein and fat, if not you are likely to get wrinkles which is hard to reverse. So be careful
Be smart in contraceptive
There are few contraceptive that can lead to weight gain and thereby causes acne. So be smart in choosing contraceptive
Include supplements
Include supplements. It will help for anxiety, stress control and skin. For example, if you include magnesium daily, it helps in controlling anxiety and nervousness.
Include vitamin A more
Vitamin A wards off and actually reverses wrinkles, and it also prevents and treats acne. So it’s very essential to consume during 20s. Prefer natural sources of vitamin A than supplements. Sweet potatoes, leafy greens, carrots, winter squash, pumpkin, and spirulina are few natural sources of vitamin A.
