IPhone 5S is not water resistance while Samsung galaxy S5 is. The Samsung has IP67 certification making it resistant to sweat, rain, liquids, sand, and dust.

Samsung galaxy S5 takes 16 megapixel photos whereas in iPhone 5S it is 8 megapixel. It also allows you to focus on a particular object by blurring the background

Memory

There is even a 64GB version of the iPhone 5S which is quite good.  The Samsung Galaxy S5 has an SD card slot which means you can increase memory up to 128GB

Private mode and kids mode

To keep your privacy and protect your date if anyone has an access to your mobile, There is a private mode which saves your photos and data and provides only you the access to it. Moreover there is a kid mode, which provide access only to certain apps and videos

Ultra power saving mode

The Samsung Galaxy S5 has an Ultra Power Saving Mode which switches the screen to monochrome when the battery level is getting low. It also shuts down the running non-essential services while retaining the ability to make and receive calls as well as to send and receive SMS messages. Samsung claims that Galaxy S5 even 10% power can last up to 24 hours on standby in Ultra Power Saving Mode.
