German industrial big Siemens plans a serious reorganization of its business, touching eleven,600 employees.

The restructuring directly affects seven,600 jobs worldwide, with another four,000 probably affected as a part of changes to its regional organisation.

However a corporation representative said: "Removing jobs in one space doesn't essentially got to mean job cuts."

Some employees could also be redeployed and Siemens is holding talks on the plans with its council.

The company is reorganising itself into 9 divisions from its current sixteen. It intends to chop annual cluster prices by 1bn euros ($1.4bn) from 2016.

The reorganization follows a previous one that affected fifteen,000 posts. in an exceedingly group discussion on Fri, a Siemens representative aforementioned that the amount of job losses from that revamp was four,000.
