Apple's iPhone has already crushed eight Samsung smartphones that it desires to be prohibited within the U.S. markets, a study has revealed.
Advertising analytics firm Chitika measured a week's value of U.S. mobile net traffic generated by the iPhone versus the eight contested Samsung phones.
The study showed that iPhones drove eight times the mobile net usage of all eight Samsung models combined.
In different words, iPhones accounted for 88 % of all net traffic analyzed, versus eleven percent generated in total by all the Samsung phones, Wired.com reports.
According to the report, the study analyzed phone usage instead of sales.
Apple is seeking to ban Samsung's Galaxy S 4G, Galaxy S2 AT and T, Galaxy S2, Galaxy S2 T-Mobile, Galaxy S2 Epic 4G, Galaxy S Showcase, Droid Charge and Galaxy Prevail.
Apple submitted the list during a U.S. court some days once a jury found Samsung traced the iPhone and iPad in making and promoting its own merchandise.
